Production Associate III - Paintline

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision hangs materials for paint line and transfers pallets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:


* Repetitive overhead lifting to hang materials


* Manually move pallets and other materials


* Utilize forklift or crane lift when needed to move parts


* Unloading of finished product from machinery


* Attention to detail


* Participate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work area


* Perform general preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on area equipment as needed


* Cross-train and rotate through various stations within department as needed to provide additional support


* Conduct on-the-job (OTJ) for newly hired and/or transferred employees


* Report material and equipment problems to appropriate personnel



* Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and interface with other shifts and support groups as needed

What qualifications will make you successful?


*
+ General knowledge of manufacturing and hand tools (preferred, but not required)
+ Adaptable to rotation of workstation throughout shift
+ General knowledge of personal computer operation and systems
+ Good dexterity
+ Must have valid driver's license and be able to obtain crane and forklift certification upon hire

Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED required
