Role Purpose:
The Field Service Engineer will maintain customer satisfaction, provide both verbal and on-site customer support and verify/approve the operational quality of DePuy Synthes equipment.
What you will be doing:
• Servicing throughout the UK ideally located in the midlands areas.
• Independently and proactively liaise with customer and service co-ordinator to schedule and perform required preventive maintenance visits and engineering updates (ECN's) as required.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on returned equipment in a professional manner
• Cover service center activities in absence of technicians
• Support sales demonstration of VRAS robotic systems
• Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule to ensure customer satisfaction and business commitments are met.
• Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.
• Achieve and maintain a high level of performance whereby allowing DePuy Synthes to meet and exceed the company's financial goals and performance metrics.
• Ensure total customer satisfaction therefore facilitating renewals of existing service agreements working with Sales representatives if needed to secure these renewals.
• Promote the growth of DePuy Synthes by partnering with Sales Consultants actively identifying potential sales leads.
