As a Mass Transfer CFD Engineer at Koch-Glitsch, you will play a pivotal role in the technical design and optimization of mass transfer and mist elimination equipment for industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical.

This position can be in Wichita, KS or can work remotely.

What You Will Do
* Project Management: Lead CFD projects from initial proposal to analysis, reporting, and presentation.
* Business Growth: Drive long-term business growth by contributing to technology and product development initiatives.
* Collaboration: Partner with business units to effective leverage CFD simulation capabilities.
* Innovation: Enhance product designs, improve understanding of products and technologies, and reduce process/warranty risk.
* Customer Engagement : Support the order acquisition phase by demonstrating technical superiority and delivering innovative solutions for customers.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Hands-on experience with ANSYS FLUENT and/or STAR-CCM+ or other commercial CFD software.
* Expertise in fluid mechanics, with a strong emphasis on multiphase flow.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Advanced Degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experience in designing mass transfer technology equipment.
* Background in the oil and gas industry.
* 3+ years of experience with commercial CFD code.
For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $145,000 per year.
This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
