Description & Requirements
Maximus is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with Scrum Master skills to join the Enterprise Technology Program Management Office (EPMO).
You will be instrumental in supporting program reporting and process standardization work by implementing Agile practices, fostering a collaborative and productive environment, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact and client interface for project technology related issues
- Manage project expectations, evaluate project needs, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that program needs are met with respect to urgency and priority
- Develop trust, credibility, and strong client relationships; seek opportunities to add value to internal and external client initiatives
- Review all project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy meet project, stakeholder, and contractual standards
- Execute all project management functions; including work breakdown and cost estimation, scheduling, monitoring and tracking of technical progress against the defined timetables, budgets, staff assignments and developments
- Lead and direct the successful delivery of application development, systems integration, infrastructure, and product installation/customization services while ensuring that assigned projects adhere to the approved life cycle work patterns, standards, and procedures for solution delivery
- Manage activities of subcontractors utilized to deliver the technical solution
- Define and implement development plans for assigned projects
- Provide detailed direction during various stages of the lifecycle to include requirements analysis, testing and potentially programming support
- Identify, track, manage, and communicate risks and issues with stakeholders and upper management
- Assure the project is in compliance with MAXIMUS standards and procedures.
- Lead and direct the successful delivery of project ensuring that assigned projects adhere to the approved life cycle work patterns, standards, and procedures for the EPMO.

- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles.
- Remove impediments and blockers to keep the team on track.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the backlog.
- Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have experience facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies.
