Application Engineer Co-Op

Schneider Electric has a new opportunity for a Application Engineer Co-Op to join our Andover, MA team, starting January 2025.

The ideal candidate will stay for 6-8 months, working full-time onsite in our Digital Buildings Innovation Lab.

What will you do?


* Apply domain expertise in commercial buildings to contribute to the innovation and integration projects within our engineering lab


* Demonstrate a solid understanding of HVAC principles and their application in building automation systems


* Collaborate with technical partners and other business units to showcase innovation and interoperability in the digital/commercial buildings domain

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


* Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Building Automation)


* Experience in commercial building automation and integration projects


* Familiarity with IoT technologies and their application in building systems is a plus


* Python, Java script and UX/UI design experience highly desirable


* Proficient in hands-on wiring and troubleshooting of building automation systems


* Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making


* Genuine interest in professional growth within the commercial building sector


* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders


* Experience in a prior Customer-facing role


* Ability to work full-time based in Andover, MA starting January 2025
