Senior Learner Experience Designer
Position Summary:
As the Senior Learning Experience Researcher, you will oversee the development of scalable and engaging learning products that align with educational goals and leverage appropriate technologies.
You will ensure all experiences meet compliance standards, including ADA and technical requirements, for seamless delivery across various platforms.
In this role, you will mentor learning designers, sharing best practices and helping them build technical proficiency in learning platforms.
By analyzing data, gathering learner feedback, and conducting usability tests, you will continuously refine and enhance learning experiences.
Additionally, you will establish standardized design processes to ensure consistency, transparency, and scalability across all projects.
Essential Job Functions:
* Oversee the creation of learning experience products, ensuring they are effective, scalable, engaging, and aligned with learning goals, while using appropriate technologies to support delivery.
* Assure compliance such as ADA, needed technical requirements to create seamless experiences in multiple environments.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to other learning designers, sharing best practices and offering feedback while helping them build technical skills using learning platforms and tools.
* Lead the continuous evaluation of learning experiences through data analysis, learner feedback, and usability testing, using insights to iterate and enhance learning pathways.
* Establish and refine design processes, ensuring thorough documentation and standardization across projects to maintain consistency, transparency, and scalability in learning experience design.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Learning Design Expertise: Proficiency in instructional design frameworks and learning science principles to create effective, learner-centered experiences that align with educational goal
* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of educational technologies, learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and data analysis platforms, with the ability to seamlessly integrate these tools into the learning design process.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Skill in using data analytics and learner feedback to inform and iterate on design decisions, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness of learning experiences.
* Collaborative Development and Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with educators, user experience research, and curriculum designers, communicating complex learning design concepts and ensuring alignment with pedagogical goals and organizational objectives.
* Process and documentation: The ability to document and train others on requirements, development processes, and standards
