As a Data Scientist, Sr.
Associate on the Small Business Data and Analytics team you will be supporting Business Banking Strategy and Client Analytics.
You will have an opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions in Business Banking, support high-visibility projects, and contribute to the development of materials for senior leaders (inc.
external investors).

Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Business Banking Strategy to identify key business challenges and opportunities, and develop data-driven solutions to address them
* Apply statistical methods and data analysis to solve business problems, under guidance from senior team members
* Support all project phases, from requirements gathering and analysis to delivering insights to senior leaders
* Navigate large amounts of data from multiple sources, utilizing Python and SQL for data processing and analysis, while ensuring accuracy
* Work cross-functionally with other departments/SMEs to ensure data quality and methodologies are applicable and accurate
* Maintain data integrity and security, complying with all relevant regulations and protocols
* Actively participate in learning and development opportunities, staying abreast of current trends and best practices in data science, and applying newfound knowledge to enhance job performance and project outcomes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Completion of Bachelor's / Graduate degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, etc.) plus 4 years or more of experience in producing advanced analytics work with an emphasis in optimization
* Strong proficiency in statistical software packages and data tools, including Python and SQL
* Strong proficiency in Advanced Statistical methods and concepts, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, text mining
* Strong proficiency in Data Mining & Visualization
* Experience in Cloud and Big Data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Apache Spark, etc.
* Strong story telling capabilities including communicating complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels in the organization
* Strong commitment to iterative development, with a proven ability to engage and update stakeholders bi-weekly or as necessary, ensuring alignment, feedback incorporation, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
