What will your job look like?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will own the full life cycle recruitment process for all hourly roles within the assigned MTM Transit location.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist needs to be driven, innovative and customer centric. 

This role is onsite full time, at our MTM Transit location and is contingent upon award of contract.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

What you’ll do:


* Execute the full life cycle recruitment process from job posting through the candidate onboarding stage for hourly onsite employees


* Be available to meet with all walk-in interviews and answer candidate questions


* Build relationships and increase outreach efforts within the local community to increase our candidate pipeline


* Coordinate onsite job fairs, as well as attend events within the local community


* Communicate with onsite Leadership regarding the status of the recruiting process


* Conduct weekly touch bases, at the minimum, with onsite leaders to review recruitment needs and possible turnover


* Conduct reference/background checks, extend formal offers of employment, and confirm start dates date based on New Hire Orientation availability


* Accurately enter all new hires and promotions into Workday and save all required documentation into personnel files


* Provide exceptional customer service to candidates throughout the recruitment process


* Responsible for achievement of targeted KPIs


* Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent MTM Transit as an Employer of Choice by maintaining an in depth understanding of MTM and MTM Transit business and culture


* Adhere to all processes and procedures defined as part of the full life cycle recruitment process


* Regular attendance is required

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:


* High School Diploma or GED


* 1+ years of experience in a recruiting role or in a related role


* Experience with data entry
