Field Tech Supervisor
Job Title: Field Tech Supervisor
Job location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Coordinate warehouse and ground operations plans and processes to provide smooth operations for movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging and to meet cost, quality, customer and market-specific requirements in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

Key Tasks
* Coordinate warehouse and manual handling plans and processes for safe and efficient operations at organization owned or leased warehouses
* Coach and guide the team for execution of day-to-day tasks and activities and meet work schedules and targets
* Monitor operations activities to receive in-coming shipment and process out-going shipment within service performance timings
* Participate in planning and scheduling inventory, and overseeing ordering of products to meet the organization's needs
* Resolve conflicts and support coordination of delivery schedules with shippers and customers
* Keep up to date stock information, review daily material movement and actual production schedules versus inventory levels
* Ensure inventory accuracy of customers' inventory by conducting daily/ weekly inventory cycle counts
* Perform inventory control, conduct stock turnover analyses and material scheduling
* Review inspection of incoming material for conformity with order specifications and any defects
* Execute safety/ security and inventory control programs to ensure goods and equipment are safely operated, and properly maintained and stored
* Review optimum utilization of warehouse facilities for storing and distributing material goods including raw materials, finished products, tools and packaging materials
* Highlight issues and opportunities, and execute practices for warehouse and manual handling focusing on promoting efficiency, faster service and lower costs
Stakeholders
* Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
* Regular contact with other specialist departments
* Cooperate with 3rd parties e.g.
external service providers
