Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry is currently looking for a Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operation Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in City of Industry, CA.

Hourly Rate: $19 - $20 DOE with Overtime Available

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES


* Deliver/Pickup parts and materials locally


* Prepares bills of lading or dray tickets for each shipment.


* Checks and records all items loaded for shipment.


* Upon completion of shipment, closes out orders and forwards document to production planning and accounting departments.


* Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, dunnage, packing slips, etc.


* Verifies goods received by checking and counting all items unloaded.

Checks suppliers' count and reports discrepancies to carrier and to purchasing office and receives in the system accurately.


* Collects information for damage claims on in-transit damage.

QUALIFICATIONS


* Education: High school diploma preferred but not required


* Experience1 year of experience preferred but not required.


* Must have a clean driving record


* Bilingual - English/Spanish a Plus
