Senior HVAC Engineer

Where would you step in? 
As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for various projects, ensuring they are efficient and meet industry standards.

You could sit in our Westwood or Woburn, Massachusetts offices.

We offer a hybrid work environment and flexible Fridays in the summer. 

Our Building Services Team and Projects
Our MEP solutions prioritize building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.

While our work might not be immediately visible in the finished product, it ensures seamless operation for our clients' buildings.

Our MEP engineers are part of a multidisciplinary design team. 

What will you be doing? 
As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will develop mechanical air system and hydronic system drawings, details, and flow diagrams, as well as create mechanical system concepts and perform heating and cooling load calculations.

You will be responsible for sizing and selecting mechanical system equipment and conducting field surveys of existing systems.

Your role will also include preparing technical specifications, mentoring and working with team members, and reviewing equipment submittals.

Additionally, you will respond to contractor questions during the construction phase to ensure project success.

What do you need? 
You need a PE License and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

You should have significant experience as a design engineer, preparing mechanical system studies, design drawings, and specifications for a variety of healthcare, municipal, commercial, higher education, and industrial projects.

Proficiency with design software is essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, detail orientation, and good interpersonal skills.

Project management experience is a plus.
