Electromechanics/electrotechnology design technician

Under general supervision, works with laboratory technicians and engineering staff to support

laboratory Job initiatives by performing the implementation and ongoing support of

Test sample preparation, assembly of the test unit, material handling, inventory tracking, laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, test fixtures and the laboratory

infrastructure required for testing to increase performance, efficiency, quality and Gage

Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) of testing.

Responsible for initial review, status review and final review of assigned projects / initiatives.

Interacts with the research and development team and facility team as needed.

For all critical projects, serves as the owner of all associated documentation including drawings, source code, part lists, etc.

and as needed, works with applicable stakeholders to suitable system to track the assembly stage, bill of materials through innovative ideas.

Acts as lead for projects and assumes responsibility for all technical aspects, schedule, vendor interaction and Facility Department support for material handling.

Co-ordinate with Lab Manager for the external and internal lab testing, with sample and test accessories requirement.

Evaluates the request to ensure alignment with operational needs to increase performance, efficiency, quality and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility of testing for all the new projects.

Align with Design team to understand project needs and deliver with best accuracy of readiness of the test sample and ensure develop relevant procedures and drawings in line with the sample preparation.

Ensures Test system and assembly area meet safety requirements and compliance.

with the Schneider EHS rules.

Works with the global colleagues to drive technical and operational consistency and to maintain efficiency and scalability in global laboratory instrumentation, automated systems, test fixtures and/or laboratory infrastructure within Scope of work.

Qualifications

Diploma or BE in Electrical or Mechanical, with 2 to 3 years' experience,

Good in understanding Basic on Medium voltage switchgear products.

Any testing background added advantage
