DRYERS PRODUCTION OPERATOR (NIGHT SHIFT) - CORRIGAN PLYWOOD

Starting rate is $20 per hour + $1.50 Night Shift Premium

Schedule: 36 hrs/48 hrs - 2 week rotation.

Our Team

Georgia-Pacific has openings in the Dryer Department for Production Operators at CORRIGAN PLYWOOD.

This is a Night Shif t position with opportunity for advancement.

In this role you will learn to operate machinery within the plywood facility to expected production levels, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and work collaboratively to complete manufacturing goals.

What You Will Do



* Learn to operate various machines throughout the department.


* Adjust to changing work schedules to meet business demands.


* Perform cleanup duties such as removing trash veneer and other debris from production equipment.


* Assist team members throughout the mill as needed.

Be a Safety advocate


* Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high-volume environment.


* Pull and lift veneer, panels, or scraps that could be up to 25 lbs


* Work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment


* Work 12 hour rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays


* Walk on elevated catwalks over 15 feet high to perform daily duties

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience in at least ONE of the following areas: manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, construction, automotive OR military environment

What Will Put You Ahead

6 months or more years of experience or more in a manufacturing, military, industrial, farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, or construction environment

Experience operating machines
