JOB SUMMARY

Lead the effective execution of all preventative maintenance processes and assigned work/projects within the plant, with a focus on optimizing all maintenance functions, including predictive preventive maintenance (PPM), spare parts, scheduling, and performance.

Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) RCM Strategy.

Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the maintenance department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


* Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.


* Oversees maintenance department to ensure equipment and facilities are running smoothly to aid in production goals.


* Engages with peers to align facility and department priorities.


* Coach, train, or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques.


* Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.


* Manages department utilization of CMMS to generate, assign and document preventative, planned and emergency maintenance orders.

Develops KPI to assess adherence to and effectiveness of PM programs.


* Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.


* Participate in the preparation and administration of the facility maintenance budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures; prepare cost estimates; submit justifications for equipment; monitor budget expenditures.
