WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

 

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for ensuring that movement and handling of customers goods on a daily basis.

 

Job Purpose: 


* To carry out warehouse duties within timeframes stated by company.


* To carry out all special instructions as noted on receipt of goods or instructions from customer services.


* To ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements.


* To provide a professional and effective service to the customer.


* Complying with local legislative requirements & company Policies and procedures.


* To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.


* Requirement to undertake screening responsibilities for selected candidates. 


* Loading and unloading trucks and sea containers.


* Scanning of freight into and out of the warehouse.

 

 Person Specification:


* FLT Counter balance / reach truck licence (Desirable)


* ADR / Hazardous awareness (Desirable)


* Good timekeeping


* To be fit and healthy


* Warehouse Experience 

 

 

 


* CRB Requirement


* 5 Year work history
