Position Overview:
We are seeking an Activities Director to plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:


* Develop and oversee a comprehensive activities program tailored to the interests and needs of residents.


* Plan and facilitate engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, outings, and special events.


* Collaborate with nursing and caregiving staff to ensure residents' needs and preferences are met.


* Encourage resident participation and foster a sense of community and belonging.


* Maintain accurate records of participation and activity outcomes.

Qualifications:


* Previous experience in an activities director role, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.


* Strong organizational and communication skills.


* Ability to work collaboratively with a team and engage residents of varying abilities.


* Creativity and enthusiasm for enhancing the lives of seniors.
