We are searching for the best talent for Senior EHS to be in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Purpose:

Established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision.

Performs duties related to the success and growth of the organization's Environmental Health and Safety programs; ensures organizational and operational compliance with legislative and environmental regulations and determines new health and safety programs and processes.

Assesses accident investigation and cause identification processes and identifies opportunities to implement new policies and practices that will minimize the organization's impact on the environment.

Develops health and safety training courses, new-hire safety orientations, pre-emptive compliance inspections

You will be responsible for :


* Supervises individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.


* Coordinates processes and assignments for supervisors and individual contributors to achieve Environmental Health & Safety goals.


* Completes and submits Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.


* Coordinates facilities, equipment, and operations inspections in order to identify and evaluate risk factors and eliminate potential hazards and/or hazardous processes.


* Administers EH&S-based education programs, from employee safety training programs to site-specific certification courses.
