About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a self-motivated, versatile Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Corporal.

Under the direction of a Lieutenant or equivalent rank or higher may exercise lead responsibilities for a shift or team of the District Law Enforcement Unit (DLE).

The Corporal performs Command Center duties as assigned and may influence personnel within the shift in the application of Law Enforcement standard operating procedures and supports DLE and Bank mission, vision, priorities, goals, and objectives.

You Will:


* Act as lead in the absence of a sergeant/lieutenant in the operation and monitoring of the Enterprise Physical Access Security System (ePASS), Video Surveillance System (VSS) and all related devices and communication systems in the Command Center.


* Must understand and effectively operate multi-faceted computer systems (e.g.

ePASS/VSS, elevator management, and fire control systems) to adhere to minimum security guidelines and established policies and procedures.


* Coordinate Command Center, shift, and team operations, activities and response to emergencies such as activating alarms, obtaining police, fire, or ambulance assistance or directing personnel resources as needed.


* Direct periodic testing of all equipment such as duress alarms, override functions, motion and entry detection systems and provide situation reports.


* Assist in the management of command center equipment (AEDs, Cell phones, keys, etc.).


* Prepare electronic journals, incident reports and other documents as needed or directed.


* Coordinate with supervisors’ approval, law enforcement officers activities (e.g., assigns tours, post rotation, and garage checks) which may include calling in replacement personnel and changing post assignments.


* Carry out essential duties required as a team member on one of the special assignment units.


* May assist in creating mission specific operations plans, assist management with research, employee training, document preparation and filing and mission execution related to their specific assignment (e.g.

SRT, EPS, and FTO).


* Perform all duties of a FR Law Enforcement Officer when not assigned in the command center or on a specialize team/assignment.

You Have:


* Preferably a minimum of 30 hours from an accredited college and a high school diploma or have passed a General Education Development (GED) test.

College hours may be waived in lieu of applicable military and/or traditional law enforcement experience...
