About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Operations Supervisors to join our growing Production team at Huntly.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of skilled professionals to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of our production facilities.

These positions will be offered on a 12 hours 5 panel production roster working 2 days, 2 nights and 5 off.

These roles will be instrumental in supporting the Mine Development team.

 Additionally, these positions will play a crucial role in fostering a strong safety culture within the mining team.

Key Responsibilities:


* Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching to your team.


* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.


* Identify and develop talent within the team.


* Drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques.


* Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.


* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.


* Prioritize safety as the highest value.


* Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).


* Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.


* Effectively allocate resources to support team objectives.


* Manage budgets and control costs.


* Identify and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.


* Make sound decisions under pressure.


* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.


* Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
