Goodwill of Colorado’s Material Handler Associates work to sort and process donations coming from our Retail Stores or Donation sites into categories (i.e., plastics, glass, metal, cardboard, textiles, etc.) to either be sold out of the blue bins at our Platte Outlet Store or to be prepped for outside vendors or end-stage disposal. Previous warehouse experience is a plus!
Full-time positions are available.
Please tell us about your availability! (We can be flexible if you can be consistent.) Ability to work evenings and weekends is preferred.
Shifts for our Material Handlers start as early as 8 am and work as late as 8:30 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am to 6:30 pm on Sundays. In particular, we are looking for coverage from 12 pm to 8:30 pm.
Pay: $18.29 Hr. This position is eligible for Daily Pay! Work today, get paid today! We’ve partnered with DailyPay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule.

JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler I, Operations (Ops) will work primarily in an assigned production and/or warehousing environment, operating heavy equipment, to move, store and retrieve donated product following Goodwill of Colorado’s warehousing, material handling procedures, and recycling guidelines.
This role will be in contact with customers, and we will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Use and become certified on compactor, baler, hand dolly, pallet jack, or other equipment/tools to effectively move, store, and retrieve product.
* Sort recyclable materials, based on type, into their proper bins.
* Ensure that all areas of production have sufficient materials to work with.
* Prepare items for store rotations and recycling procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Ensure all recycled materials and trash bins do not become over filled.
* Complete all duties and responsibilities in accordance with department and organization policies and procedures so there is no lapse of work to minimize down time.
