Health Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist – Neurosurgery Brachial Plexus and Pain

Work Schedule :

70% FTE, days.

You may be eligible for up to a $7000 sign-on bonus.

You will work at 1102 S Park St and 4602 Eastpark Blvd.

We are seeking a Health Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to:


* Evaluate and treat patients referred by the Pain Clinic with chronic pain and other pain-related concerns, requiring short term behavioral interventions.


* Evaluate and treat patients referred by neurosurgery for brachial plexus pain and functioning related concerns.


* Co-facilitate group medical visits (psychoeducation and treatment) for pain management.


* Conduct Spinal cord stimulator and other procedural evaluations for patients awaiting medical procedures.


* Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess benefits of treatment.


* Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.

Qualifications



* Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field Required

Work Experience



* 1 year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical setting Required


* One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical setting Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in state of practice.

This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice Required


* CPR/BLS Required
