Answers the telephone promptly and courteously to ensure smooth and accurate communication.

Records and communicates all messages in an accurate and timely manner.

Possesses good writing and English skills.

Possesses good organizational skills.

Maintains Director's appointment calendar.

Accurately and efficiently transcribes dictated correspondence.

Accurately and efficiently takes and transcribes minutes for committee/meetings as assigned by the Director/Designee.

Partners with the area leader to support management of staff timecards and attendance accountability reviews.

Maintains and updates employee performance appraisal lists.

Actively participates in achieving department goals.

Demonstrates necessary flexibility in regard to changes in Hospital or department activities.

Education: Work requires knowledge generally acquired through a high school education or GED.

Job requires the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Licensure: Unit Assistant certification preferred.

Experience: One year experience in an acute care facility preferred.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.17.

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
