The NonStop Advanced Technology Center is hiring an expert level NonStop Database consultant with solid skills in database technologies, basic knowledge of NonStop, experience in working with high-end, mission critical customers.

The ideal candidate is a T-shaped thinker, who has broad knowledge and can selectively dive deeper.

Responsibilities:

Leads database related consulting engagements in various phases of the customer- and project lifecyle


* Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced stakeholders, including NonStop engineering, the field organization, product management and partners


* Reviews and evaluates database related offerings and designs, provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.


* Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.


* Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.


* Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.


* Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager.
