* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

* This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


* Background in a progression towards learning tool and die making (mold making) or similar field.


* Prefer at least five years experience with horizontal lathes, vertical mills, CNC mills, EDM machines and surface grinders; well versed in speeds / feeds, cutting tools and materials.


* Prior data collection and organization experience is preferred.


* Extensive background in tool and die making (mold making) or similar field.


* Intermediate computer experience with Master Cam software and the interaction with machining centers.


* Ability and willingness to learn new machining and/or inspection methods and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY
Works under minimal supervision to plan, fabricate, and maintain pattern dies, sprue dies, gauges, or ancillary items of extreme complexity.

All types of precision machine shop equipment, hand tools, and measuring device tools are used in extremely complex tasks.

Independent judgment and skill are frequently required.
