Managing Director Americas - Perfume & Beauty

General mission
Reporting to the International Sales Director based in our HQ in Paris, the Managing Director Americas (US & LATAM - not including Canada) is responsible for defining, proposing and implementing strategic plans for the activity in the zone (Local markets and Travel Retail).
He/she supports the development of the activity and the team in perfect harmony with the Global Hermès Perfume and Beauty strategy and is responsible for promoting the image of Hermès Perfume and Beauty on the different markets.

Context
The Americas Region (US & LATAM - excluding Canada) is a zone which includes the following markets:
- Local markets: United States, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Caribbean
- Travel Retail (outside Canada)
- Hermès Stores in the United States and Latin America.
The team is based in Miami (20 team members) :
- Commercial: 1 Regional Sales Director, 4 Local Market and/or Travel Retail Area Sales Managers, 1 Travel Retail US Sales Account Executive, 1 Local Market US Account Executive, 1 Sales coordinator
- Operations and Finance: 1 Finance & Operations Director, 1 financial analyst, 1 demand planner, 1 business analyst,
- Trade Marketing: 1 Regional Marketing Director, 2 Marketing Executives
- Education : 1 Regional Training Director, 1 Training Manager
- E-Commerce: 1 Regional E-Commerce manager, 1 Digital & Marketing coordinator
- 1 Executive Assistant / office coordinator

Main Missions
1.

Define, propose and guarantee the turnover's objectives and development of our image in the Region in perfect harmony with the strategy defined by the International Director, and in connection with the operational teams:
- Propose and define the commercial objectives for each market with a global vision and conduct an optimized negotiation policy with distributors and key clients
- Make a global commitment on the turnover and profitability of the region
- Support the markets on a daily basis in achieving their objectives
- Analyze the results and define the action plans and necessary measures to strengthen development

In close collaboration with the International Department teams based in HQ (Marketing, Communication, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Training, Finance), participate in the construction of the commercial strategy
- Define, implement and analyze the distribution strategy by country in line with the International Director while relying on the HQ central teams, our colleagues in Hermès Retail local subsidiaries and our agents

-Propose the means to implement the strategy taking into account the defined objectives and the specificities of each market
- Prepare distribution contracts with the legal department of Hermès International
- Define and develop suitable projects in relation with the product development and operational marketing teams.
