Assistant General Manager
Work with the general manager to model leadership and provide coaching and direction to Central Fill and Postal Prescription Services (PPS) associates to achieve desired business results.
Assist the general manager in all operational activities for the multi-shift pharmacy facility.
Assist the general manager with the planning, organizing, managing and direction of the daily production operation to accurately and safely complete the prescription fill process while ensuring timely distribution of all prescriptions to the retail units.

Minimum
- Other Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Project management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of budgets and financials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player and demonstrated leadership skills
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems
- Pharmacy Experience- Assist in managing all human resources issues for the Central Fill/PPS business
- Manage the Central Fill and PPS workforce in the achievement of business objectives
- Manage direct reports and assist all Central Fill/PPS associates in accomplishing strategic plan goals and objectives
- Provide input to establish financial goals and manage operations to meet or exceed the goals
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory standards are maintained daily
- Direct and coach supervisors regarding the daily operations
- Assist in the professional development of supervisors
- Facilitate and ensure execution of the performance feedback process for all hourly operations associates
- Coordinate operations scheduling
- Communicate and resolve safety, quality, delivery, costs and morale issues.
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Provide support and feedback to the GM for on-going issues such as maintenance improvements, project implementation, staffing requirements, training
- Effectively communicate business objectives to Central Fill and PPS
- Provide support and feedback to the GM for on-going issues such as maintenance improvements, project implementation, staffing requirements, and training
- Serve in leadership role on the Quality Management Committee and Accuracy Committee
- Spend up to 10 percent of time actively participating in the Quality Management Committee team functions
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including nights and weekends
