Buyer/Inventory Control Coordinator

Viwinco is in search of a Buyer/Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor inventory levels, completing inventory usage analyses, calculating purchase order requirements, creating purchase orders, and working with suppliers and logistics to fulfill orders.

This role will collaborate with finance, sales, operations, manufacturing, and customer service teams to identify inventory concerns and implement solutions quickly.

Management of inventory accuracy, including oversight of the cycle count program and participation in month-end inventory activity, is the other major component of this role.

Responsibilities:


* Utilize MRP tools combined with critical thinking to compile appropriate material requirements.


* Generate, communicate, monitor, and manage purchase orders.


* Manage inventory levels to achieve key business objectives.


* Interface with other departments to ensure continuous supply of necessary materials.


* Build and maintain strong vendor and service provider relationships.


* Compile necessary month-end inventory count documents.


* Participate in month-end inventory count.


* Assist in compiling results of month-end inventory.


* Oversee daily cycle count program.


* Problem-solve causes of inventory inaccuracy.

Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business, or a related field.


* 2+ years professional experience in a related role.


* Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.


* Superb collaboration and communication abilities.


* Strong organizational, task management, and time management skills.


* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning programs and tools.


* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to details.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects/business goals simultaneously.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
