Payment Settlement analyst

As a Payment Settlement Analyst in healthcare payments.
You will be responsible for reconciliation of our Payers ASO Disbursement Hub and Disbursement Hub Invoicing and other bank accounts, monitoring and resolving ACH Returns, Notification of Changes, processing refunds and Returns on all custodial bank accounts.
Attention to detail, disciplined follow-up procedures, ability to absorb, maintain knowledge or processes, and initiative are the keys to success.
This position will be instrumental in improving on existing policies & procedures and establishing financial controls.
Job Responsibilities:
* Monitor electronic payment settlement (EFT, ACH, Credit Cards, etc.) between healthcare providers, health plans, and/or patients to ensure they are processed accurately
* Perform Bank reconciliations
* Create cases in Salesforce for ACH Returns and perform customer outreach to resolve Returns in a timely manner.
* Work with customers and Processors to resolve Chargebacks incurred on their accounts.
* Research and follow up on reconciling items as needed
* Complete daily and monthly settlement reports for compliance and audit purpose
* Be on cutting edge of electronic payment processing, understanding NACHA rules, new payment products, and continually learning in an entrepreneurial environment
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments in a clear, professional, and courteous manner which foster a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to act discretely with confidential information
* Team-oriented with a commitment to the success of everyone in the company
* BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
