Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator

Milk Specialties Global, a leading manufacturer of nutrition and health products for over 60 years, has an excellent opportunity available for a Maintenance / Boiler Operator based out of our facility in Mountain Lake, MN. This a night shift role working 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance/Boiler Operator to join the Mountain Lake, MN team.

The shift for the position is Nights, 6pm - 6am .

Starting wage for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 per hour +1.00 night-shift differential.

The Maintenance / Boiler Operator has the responsibility to oversee and troubleshoot and monitor readings of boiler system, perform maintenance on equipment, as well as diagnose and repair equipment as needed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:


* Oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of buildings and production equipment


* Perform a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration, etc.


* Able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks

Maintenance Technician Requirements:


* Must have desire to learn, and have 2nd Class B Boilers License or ability to obtain boilers license within 90 days of hire.


* 2 – 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.


* High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through


* Strong mechanical aptitude


* Able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks


* Knowledge of PLC's and ammonia a plus.
