What will you do
The Senior Manager Materials Management is responsible for Essential Health (EH) and Skin Health (SH) segments and for leading our Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Supplier Management (MSM) and Master Data (MS) teams in order to guarantee successful delivery of all our Supply chain OKRs (material availability, Inventory, SLOB-obsolete materials), being the ultimate direct responsible individual for all the material supply related topics.
The resource will oversee a total organization of 26 employees through three direct reports (one per each area).
Key Responsibilities
Material Requirements Planning (MRP):
* Supervise the day-to-day activities of the material replenishment team, ensuring sufficient actions are taken to resolve any criticality in terms of material availability.
* Define system policies to maintain optimal Inventory levels in order to fulfil required supply chain targets; monitor execution and define plans to properly address main derailers.
* Support the team defining most critical phase-in/phase-out strategies and oversee execution to make sure obsolescence costs are minimized.
* Monitor performance of the Accounts payable process, to ensure timely payment of invoices and minimal rework required to manage the process increasing process automation.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
* Coach and support the team on continuous improvement in terms of MRP processes and practices, ensure sufficient resources are allocated to drive the more strategic workstreams.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of material replenishment professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to meet objectives.
