JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for using equipment for the assembly and processing tasks to produce finished products according to established specifications.
Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.
Safely and efficiently execute daily tasks related to the production of absorbable Vicryl and Vicryl Plus suture in accordance with process specifications and procedures.
Typical tasks include the coating and inspection processes on the new generation lines (Lines 4,5,6 and 7) that require a complete operator certification, a TWI sign off and the ability to easily interface and interrupt instruction and warnings generated by the HMI controls system.
The CAMSTAR interaction requires an in-depth understanding of the process and the ability to record data contemporaneously and accurately to a set of tasks exceeding 100 steps per lot.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operates production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products.
• Interprets instructions and specifications and uses to set up equipment.
• Checks products on assembly line to confirm that they are properly assembled and removes defective products.
• Cleans and maintains equipment as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of maintenance and/or repairs needed on equipment.
• Prepares accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
