Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate - Corpus
Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
Department: Delivery
General Summary:
Individual will conduct daily delivery tasks to customer facilities, job sites and other facilities.
When not out making deliveries or running transfers, warehouse duties will be performed.
Driver Key Responsibilities:
1.
Operates various delivery vehicles.
2.
Transports products and material to and from specified destinations.
3.
Loads and unloads the delivery vehicle.
4.
Maintains radio contact with supervisor/leader/manager to receive delivery or pick up instructions.
5.
Checks truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness. Notifies supervisor/leader/manager of current or anticipated repairs.
6.
Reports customer feedback and/or areas for improved customer service.
7.
Cleans truck and maintains work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
8.
Follows all safety policies and procedures and completes the provided training.
9.
Supports the quality initiatives set forth by the region.
Warehouse Key Responsibilities:
1.
Performs all requirements of assigned departments (shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, delivery, etc.) and provides assistance throughout the warehouse upon request from leader/supervisor/manager.
2.
Performs filling, checking, and packaging of orders for shipment.
3.
Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Typically bends, stoops and/or crouches from various heights on a regular basis to stock or deliver product to a customer.
4.
Operates forklift: proper training and certification required.
May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies & handcart).
5.
Follows all safety policies and procedures and completes the provided training.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.
High school diploma or GED required.
2.
Minimum 1-year work experience; previous delivery and warehousing experience preferred.
3.
Valid Michigan Drivers’ license, Chauffeur’s license & good driving record required; Motor Vehicle Record check; results must meet Company requirements.
4.
DOT medical card required; successful completion of DOT physical required if not in current possession of DOT medical card.
5.
Basic PC skills, experience with MS Office products preferred.
6.
Familiarity with local driving area experience preferred.
7.
Must conduct self professionally when dealing with customers and staff.

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor, or Branch or Operations Manager
Direct Reports: None
Working Conditions:
Normal warehouse, retail or manufacturing environments/6-8 hours of daily driving
