Logistics Tech

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Responsible for all activities related to BPR (batch production records) and logistics, providing production and other departments the necessary paperwork, materials, and instructions to execute the production schedule.

Executes all day to day activities, balance the work load among collaborators, develop an effective cross training matrix, and collaborate with the other logistics personnel to utilize labor efficiently.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Accurately and timely completes functions assigned to the logistics area to meet company production and inventory objectives.


* Receives Production Plan and develops production schedules for the production departments in support of the MPS.


* Creates and releases production orders inappropriate systems .


* Assists in all aspects of the BPR life cycle from creation, distribution, material consumption, review, corrections, release, and closure.


* Coordinates the acquisition and delivery of all materials needed by other departments including; raw materials, sub- assemblies, packaging, print plates, and all MRO supplies using the most effective inventory techniques.


* Creates production orders with assigned lot numbers in the system.

Prepares and maintains a BPR control log book for all manually assigned lot numbers issued when the system is off line as required.

Also maintains a log book for all TECO'd lot numbers.


* Confirms all production orders inappropriate systems , including that all raw material are consumed in the department with the barcode scanning system on the lines.


* Monitors material inventory in the production supply area and perform spot inventories to ensure that the inventory is accurately reflected.

Follows up on any discrepancies in the materials forresolution.


* Prepares and prints the material kit list to be attached to all production batches for SAP bar-coding.


* Initiates, and follows up as needed on DN's, NCR's, DS's, SPR's, QFN's, and MADR's to facilitate a smooth flow of product through the production to release process.


* Responsible for all incoming shipments of materials and equipment as well as outgoing shipments; Domestic and International.


* Prepares appropriate documents for International/Domestic customers/suppliers.


* Delivers interplant packages and notifies personnel in regards to Chain of Custody (CoC), C.O.D.'s, Customer returns, etc.


* Continuous account of raw materials through a perpetual inventory system.

Warehouse management tracking and verification of finished goods through internal process flows and release.


* Assists in the movement of materials and finished goods to and from Manufacturing Plant to multiple off-site facilities.


* Procures released finished good and quarantine finished good samples.


* Interfaces with internal and external customers for problem resolution.
