Job Summary:

Join The Ben Hotel’s Winter Wonderland as a Seasonal Bartender for an exciting opportunity to serve festive cocktails alongside downtown West Palm Beach's first outdoor ice skating rink! You’ll provide exceptional service, prepare holiday-themed drinks, and ensure a warm, welcoming experience for guests enjoying the Winter Wonderland festivities.

Key Responsibilities:


* Guest Service: Serve beverages and menu items to guests in a professional, prompt manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.


* Bar Setup & Breakdown: Set up the bar at the start of the shift, ensuring it is fully stocked and clean.

Break down the bar, lock up liquor, and properly store fruit and juices at the end of each shift.


* Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve cocktails, including holiday-themed drinks, in accordance with Beverage Standards, using a standard jigger for accuracy.


* Order Management: Accept and process drink orders from guests and servers, ensuring accurate check handling and compliance with all credit card policies.

Follow Red Line procedures to ensure all orders are rung up correctly.


* Inventory & Requisition: Manage inventory by stocking and replenishing beer, liquor, soda, and juices.

Submit beverage requisitions for liquor and maintain proper stock rotation.


* Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the bar areas neat and clean, restock glassware and ice as needed, clean floors, and empty/clean trashcans at the end of each shift.


* Safety & Compliance: Follow all alcohol service procedures, ensuring compliance with laws regarding serving minors.

Maintain a safe work environment by following prescribed safety guidelines.


* Promotional Activities: Inform guests of any promotional events, including food and beverage specials, and ensure promotional and birthday drinks are handled according to established procedures.


* Professionalism & Teamwork: Work professionally with guests and fellow associates to create a friendly, hospitable, and effective working atmosphere.

Report to work on time and in full uniform, adhering to the Concord Hospitality Handbook guidelines.


* Opening & Closing Duties: Complete all tasks listed on opening and closing checklists to ensure smooth bar operations throughout the event.

Qualifications:


* Experience: At least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting; seasonal event experience is a plus.


* Mixology Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with the ability to craft holiday-themed drinks.


* Customer Service: Ability to provide friendly, personalized service while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
