Logistics Analyst

Georgia-Pacific has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst on the Inventory and Transaction Team within Consumer Products Warehousing.

This individual will be responsible for managing the inventory of Georgia-Pacific produced and owned materials at our warehouses.

This role will interact and collaborate with the 3rd party operators at our 18 nationwide warehouses, as well as with the GP Logistics Managers who directly supervise these locations.

In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining SKU-level product coding, managing finished goods write-offs in coordination with the brands, and will be highly involved with the JumpStart and Supply Chain Intern Program.

The candidate should be customer focused and demonstrate a sense of urgency when appropriate.

Critical thinking and organization skills are required as the individual will be expected to provide transactional support and analysis, at times collaborating across multiple organizations/capabilities.

In addition, this role will be best suited for someone who enjoys working in SAP/S4 and wants to increase their transactional knowledge in SAP S4 & EWM.

The variety of ad-hoc requests directed toward the team as well as our ongoing best practice optimization efforts are best managed by a system-savvy individual.

Location: This is a hybrid role based at our Georgia-Pacific Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

* Building donation loads


* Finished Goods Inventory scrapping


* Inventory Cycle Count & Audit coordination


* Directing Quality Holds & Managing unplanned Quality Events


* SKU Lifecycle Management


* Optimization efforts

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience in a Supply Chain role or internship


* Experience working with Excel (PivotTables & VLOOKUPs)

What Will Put You Ahead


* Experience using SAP


* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field


* Salesforce experience
