Position Purpose: Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.

Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.

Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. 

Hours/Shift:  Full Time/Days 7:30a-4:30p M-F

Key Responsibilities:


* Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision (in the office suite or exam room) of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.


* Escorts patient to the exam room and prepares patient for the exam including vital stats, history, and reason for seeking care.


* Cross trains in data entry, balancing of accounts, charge fees and collect payments due Schedules/confirms appointments.
