We are hiring a Optical Engineering Test Technician to join our team.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for high-speed optical transceivers, including performance, reliability, and environmental testing

• Setup and maintain test stations, perform required calibrations, and Gage R&R for station validation

• Conduct functional, stress, and compliance testing to validate product specifications

• Understand parametric test essentials for Optical Transceiver production

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing

• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle

• Maintain accurate records of test results, configurations, and calibration data

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Technical Associates degree (AS) or equivalent experience

• Experience in testing high-speed optical transceivers or in related fiber optic arena.

• Proficiency in using optical test equipment (DMM, O-Scope, power supplies, etc).

• Understand and experienced with device testing protocols using I2C, SPI, VISA, and Ethernet.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Familiarity with industry standards for 100G/400G/800G with Coherent technologies or PAM4 modulation formats, and with optical communication protocols.

For this role, we anticipate paying $50,000- $70,000 per year.

This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
