General Maintenance Support: 3p-11:30p

Kendal at Oberlin's Facility Services team is currently seeking skilled individual for a full time, 3:00pm-11:30pm General Maintenance Support position.
This is generally a Tuesday thru Saturday schedule, however there would an expectation to cover extra shifts to cover for coworkers when needed.
The Maintenance Support will be responsible for providing general day-to-day support for the maintenance of equipment, grounds, structures and systems of the facility.
This individual must have a solid working knowledge of carpentry, electric, HVAC, painting and plumbing experience.
Essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Perform routine operational checks and preventative maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure proper temperatures, flows, injection rates, etc.
* Provide support for the maintenance of grounds, grounds equipment, trash removal and recycling.
* Respond and report critical and emergency events as required.
* Perform minor maintenance related tasks as assigned or found during shift.
* Respond to off-duty emergencies, snow removal, medical trips, etc.
* Provide assistance to other departmental staff members in the area of maintenance, grounds, housekeeping, laundry and transportation as well as other departments as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Solid working knowledge of carpentry, electric, HVAC, painting, plumbing.
* Must have valid driver's license in Ohio.
* Must be able to operate company vehicles and equipment that are necessary in the performance of assigned duties.
* Must be physically able to walk, climb, bend, lift, stoop, pull, crawl, carry, dig, shovel and drive with no more than minor correctable deficiencies in sight and hearing.
