Senior Customer Technical Project Engineer with German language

For our Global Service Operations team located in Bratislava we are looking for an engineer, who will:


* Act as the design leader of the technical content of the project, and be the single point of contact regarding all project technical topics;
Make sure customer technical requirements are fulfilled (in terms of performance, quality, costs and time), in compliance with the contract, and based on the Architecture & Technical specifications defined during the tendering phase;


* Lead a technical team composed of engineers, and participate in technical coordination of all projects stakeholders;


* Lead all technical and organizational aspects of customer integrated projects such as: design, implementation, testing, FAT; site coordination


* Manage technical risks and interfaces between the project team stakeholders and the customer; and get final customer approval of the overall technical solution designed and delivered.


* Coordinate planning activities, supplier follow-up, documentation, logistics and project
administration of dedicated smaller projects for SE France or other local SE entities.


* He reports to Local Project Manager and/or Program Manager.

The main focus is at:
+ Providing inputs and analysis of the planning in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera tool;
+ Follow and update project assumptions, baseline, milestones, reporting, KPIs;
+ Helps identifying project risk and opportunities, put in place plans actions to mitigate and/or achieve them;
+ Follow up and update the project execution budget
+ Organize and animate regular Project meetings;
+ Assist to the preparation of Variation Orders and / or Claims;
+ Performs any other task requested by local Project Manager or Program Manager related to the project execution

Scope and Environment

Part of a customer project execution/application center with:

Internal relationships:


* With the Project Team to organize design / commissioning tasks.


* With the Project Manager (PM), to manage schedules and customer interfaces.


* With other Design Leaders & Technical Leader, to ensure correct implementation of the design

External relationships:


* With the customers, upon request of the project or TL / PM.

Key responsibilities, activities and skill set

Technical team coordination & management:


* Lead & approve basic and detailed design of all technical aspects of an integrated solution, in line with customer and contract requirements (technical performance);


* Make sure the project technical team delivers according to the project planning;


* Monitor technical costs, make sure budget for the technical part is under control;


* Coordinate all technical implementation activities done at factories or supplier premises and testing facilities until project closure
