Security Service Intern - Fall 2024

Schneider Electric is seeking an Security Service Intern in the Boston, MA area! As an Engineering System Intern, you will be part of our dynamic engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting and enhancing the functionality of cameras and managing access controls.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills in a real-world setting and contribute to the success of our engineering projects.

What will you do?


* Troubleshoot and repair security systems


* Implement hardware and software applications for assigned customers


* Perform scheduled maintenance on installed systems


* Install, commission, and check-out of new security systems


* Coordinate activities of subcontractors, as needed


* Complete documentation for assigned tasks


* Provide on-site training to customers as needed

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?


* Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.


* Basic understanding of engineering principles, hardware components, and software systems.


* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical documentation tools.
