 Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk supports the National Accounts Department by working within the Accounts Receivables team to create customer billing, maintain department files, and provide support to our customers.

This position works closely with our service, sales, and administrative team and answers to the Assistant Key Accounts Division Manager.

 Essential Job Functions:


* Create and distribute monthly billing to customers (Via Excel)


* Record and reconcile incoming and outgoing checks for national accounts


* Maintain customer files to keep information current and accurate


* Build, maintain, and review Excel spreadsheet data


* Problem resolution with internal and external customers


* Other duties as assigned

 Minimum Qualifications:


* Some experience in accounting required


* High school graduate or equivalent required


* Competency with core Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel


* Strong working knowledge of Excel; experience with writing formulas preferred


* Professional customer service skills and telephone etiquette


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English


* Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a support role


* Organized and detail focused, ability to work on a variety of tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
