Role: Service Now - Functional Product Owner (HRSM)

Scope: Global

Role Overview: FPO plays a crucial role in defining the product vision, evolution, within their domain and prioritizing features based on business impact and user value

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with HR Digital Services goals and create a product roadmap.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Gather and prioritize requirements from HR leaders, end-users, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication between them and the development team.

Backlog Management: Own and refine the product backlog based on requirements and business priorities.

Prioritize backlog items based on factors such as urgency, criticality, and collaborate with technology team regarding the desired sequence of development.

Make the product backlog accessible and transparent to all stakeholders.

Product Development and Delivery: Oversee the development process to ensure features are built according to specifications and delivered on time, ensuring quality through testing and validation.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback, implementing improvements to enhance the product acceptance

User Experience and Adoption: Enhance the user experience by ensuring the product is intuitive, user-friendly, develop strategies to drive user adoption and engagement.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the product complies with relevant regulations and standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Ownership & Vendor Management: Co-own vendor relationship, collaborate with vendor and SED to influence product roadmap, guide and support domain through changes introduced by new product features, including training and documentation.

Exercise Decision-Making Authority: Make critical decisions about what functional features to build and when, guided by data, user feedback, and a deep understanding of product dynamics.

Skills & Attributes:

Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the domain or industry in which the product operates, enabling effective decision-making and requirement prioritization.

Product Management: Proficiency in product development lifecycle, including defining product vision, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization.

3.

Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, understand their needs, and align product features with business objectives.

4.

Agile Methodologies: Expertise in Agile practices, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
