Position Summary

Operate rotational molding machinery, ancillary equipment, and tools in the fabrication of molded polyethylene components for industrial equipment applications.

Primary Responsibilities


* Operate rotational molding machinery and ancillary equipment.


* Operate mixer to make batches of polyethylene powder, pigment, and additives.


* Pull plastic components from molds manually or with hand tools and fixtures.


* Trim plastic flash around parting lines using knives and hand tools.


* Fabricate plastic components using power tools, trim fixtures, and gauges.


* Inspect plastic housings to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.


* Perform routine preventive maintenance and clean-up.


* Carry out other duties as assigned.


* Perform all essential duties in an efficient, safe, and quality conscious manner according to specifications, procedures, schedules and safety standards.


* Assist in overseeing work center activities including production activity control, troubleshooting machine cycles, training, record keeping, quality control, inventory control, and liaison with other departments.

Education and Experience


* High School diploma or GED required. 


* Manufacturing and power tool experience preferred.


* Plastics manufacturing experience preferred


* Forklift certification preferred 

Hiring Range:

Between $18.00/hr.

- $18.00/hr.
