The Opportunity


* Seeking physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are comfortable dealing with both simple and complex medical issues via video.


* Must have strong assessment skills and capability to handle any chief complaint on all age groups to determine if higher level of care is needed.


* Should have 2+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care.

Must be able to do assessments.


* Current hours are Monday through Friday, 12-8pm, Sat/Sun 10am-6pm.

We may be adding a later shift as this is a growing and expanding practice.

Providers able to work later hour shifts is a bonus.


* Care for an underserved community (San Joaquin County/Stockton).


* Care is remote from your home or office - it must be a professional workspace and a computer will be provided.


* Current CA state license required.


* Must reside in California.


* National Certification required.


* DEA required.


* Ability to work collaboratively with care team.

The Practice

San Joaquin General Hospital - French Camp, California


* Vituity will work in collaboration with San Joaquin FQHC to bring TeleUrgent medical services a multidisciplinary approach.


* Emergency Department Physicians will be available for consult as needed.


* Trauma level III with 45,000 annual ED patient visits.


* Admit rate of 14%.
