Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA is responsible for performing personal care needs, promoting comfort, and promptly attending to the requests of the patient.



* Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, skin and nail care, and oral and personal hygiene.


* Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the patient, and assist with feeding.


* Observe patient status and monitor vital signs, and report any significant changes to the Case Manager.


* Assist with ambulation, exercise and range of motion procedures as an extension of therapy services.


* Keep patient's living area clean and orderly, and assist with light laundry needs.


* Provide respite for patient's family and caregivers.

QUALIFICATIONS



* Must be 18 years or older.


* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a CNA in this state.


* Current CPR Certification.


* Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
