About the role

Reporting into the Senior Business Manager the Luxury Sales Manager, this role is responsible for the development and execution of our luxury sales across the MEA region.

The role will have a primary focus on the UAE market, with targets to further grow distribution and sales in luxury On Trade accounts and Fine Wine retail.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:


* Priority on relationship management and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service, from recruitment and acquisition, through to the development and retention of the Luxury and High Net Worth clients.


* Responsible to grow and nurture high potential corporate, luxury brands and fine wine retailers’ partnerships while activating and building opportunities to grow the luxury portfolio.


* Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and distribution of Penfolds portfolio in on-premises locations.


* Plan and execute promotional activities, tastings, and events at on-premises locations to drive brand awareness and sales.


* Work closely with the marketing team to ensure best in class execution, and significantly ramp up our in-store availability and presence across the UAE market and use shopper insights where relevant to drive category captaincy with fine wine customers.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Luxury Sales Manager who has strong experience in brand management or trade marketing experience.


* Experience in FMCG, preferably in the wine industry


* Degree or diploma in Business, Economics or similar discipline


* WSET (Level 3 or higher) or similar wine education desired


* Fluent in English is a must


* Passionate for fine wine and spirits, keen to build expertise and pursue knowledge of the category 


* Able to collaborate effectively across teams to help drive success.


* Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills; excellent written and verbal communications are key priorities 


* Possess a high level of self-motivation and determination
