Inventory Control Administrator 2

Description & Requirements

Maximus is seeking an Inventory Control Administrator 2.

The Inventory Control Administrator 2 is responsible for all of the incoming and outgoing distribution of IT equipment to Maximus employees throughout the U.S.

This position in On-Site 5 days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive inventory, process and/or distribute incoming/outgoing shipments.

- Maintain PC/accessory stock to established min/max levels on an ongoing basis.

- Organize and maintain Asset area, including inventory of all equipment and accessories (new equipment, intake and surplus areas as defined).

- Conduct quarterly audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.

- Facilitate the return/replacement of faulty assets through warranty repair with vendors.

- Asset tagging and management of inventory software.

- Coordinate the management and loading of assets into asset tracking tool(s).

- Coordinating pickup of our recycled equipment.

- Order supplies that are needed such as boxes, wrap, tape and asset tags.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and Maximus accepted practices.

Minimum Requirements

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

- 2-4 years related professional experience required.
