Senior Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:


* Lead project managers and cross functional teams working on new product development and sustaining initiatives.


* Review high-level deliverables across product line.


* Ensure organization is well informed of changes to project timelines, capital expenses, etc.


* Ensure superior solution delivery to market and provide senior level resolution to issues.


* Provide executive summaries of project status on a regular basis, present to senior executive team and board of directors.


* Address and resolve all cost issues using the resources of the staff accountant and purchasing department.


* Help create pipeline costs forecasts and broad-based financial picture for product lines.


* Manage external partnerships with vendors and external technical contractors.

Experience


* Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related field, and ten (10) to twenty (20) years of project management experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


* Six sigma methodologies and certification preferred.


* Master's degree in business administration (MBA) preferred.


* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management electronic management tools.


* Advanced knowledge of financial acumen to drive continuous improvement in processes and cost management.


* Excellent critical thinking skills including the ability to independently solve problems with data.


* Excellent presentation skills including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program.


* Advanced communication skills including the ability to influence people at all levels in an organization.


* Advanced problem-solving and creative innovation leadership skills.


* Ability to manage multiple projects and programs at the same time to complete work.


* Ability to develop high level relationships and rapport with customers and business partners and represent T.D.

Williamson (TDW) on industry committees.


* Ability to exercise sound judgment in making technical decisions.


* Ability to organize, lead, challenge, inspire, and develop people.


* Ability to speak English required.
