Job Description:

Responsibilities:


* Plans the mechanical installation of the system, from determining unloading methods to s taffing requirements to tools/supplies/etc.


* Supports the mechanical installation of large air and liquid cooled systems


* Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel whom are diagnosing , troubleshooting , repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment


* Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

Resolves extremely complex technical issues in creative and effective ways


* Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering


* Works directly with customer on technical support issues to recommend and resolve customer problems


* Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature


* May lead larger scope project relating to service issue


* Position requires travel which can vary from 30% to 75% depending on shipping schedule.

Knowledge and Skills:


* Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization


* Ability to communicate effectively across the function and often across organizational boundaries, or with customers, recommends solutions


* Strong problem solving/analytical skills


* Strong ingenuity and creativity Ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate action


* Ability to work independently


* Ability to present more complex information, with less preparation time to a wider audience


* Influencing skills


* Government Security Clearance helpful or must have the ability to obtain this type of clearance

Education and Experience:


* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience


* Required Min 2 years of experience in a business or facilities-related function to computer system Site Planning
