Job Description:

Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment.

Works with a team providing design, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.

Exercises independent judgement within defined parameters.

Responsibilities


* Entry level Mechanical Engineer to support new products for High Performance Computing.


* The individual must have the people skills to work with a design team in a rapidly changing environment to meet program objectives.


* Duties include assisting Senior Level Product Design Engineers in the designing of a computer system infrastructure and components and sub-assemblies.


* Researching and documenting of component parts and generating Bills of Materials.


* Position will require hands on interactivity to perform thermal, acoustic, electrical and mechanical testing of components and systems, to validate and generate the test reports for the design against program requirements.


* Portions of this job will be in a lab environment validating and qualifying conceptual designs and prototype product implementations.

Education and Experience Required


* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering


* Typically, 0 - 2 years' experience

Knowledge and Skills


* Experience or understanding of Solidworks, Pro E or other 3D CAD software.


* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Understanding of design for sheet metal and plastic parts and associated production tooling and processes.


* Understanding of thermal properties of materials and heat transfer.


* Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
